When we decided to enroll O. in karate we were looking for something that would stimulate him physically and intellectually as well as foster a positive sense of self. We have not been disappointed by O.’s experience at Ki. O. has been taught the forms, encouraged to remember skills and vocabulary that at times prove challenging to a 4 year old boy. He has been taught respect and discipline with a fun yet gentle approach. He’s enjoyed working and playing with the kids his age. Going through the belt test, earning star cards to earn a trophy, and participating in a competition have also provided him with a person sense of accomplishment.
We appreciated all of the kindness of Sensei Vladimir – he has extraordinary patience with these young boys and girls, and even more patience with their feisty younger sisters! We are so glad we found Ki and Sensei. O. has loved this learning and active experience. It’s great to see him excited and asking, “Am I going to Karate today?”

E. has benefitted a great deal since he started KI Martial Arts. He was not able to run before. But now he has learned to run, and loves doing it. Before he was extremely sensitive to touch. Now he can tolerate touch much better. He loves coming to class. He actually looks forward to his Karate/Tae Kwon Do Class.
Sensei Vladimir is very kind, patient, and helpful person. He is flexible and works with E.’s strengths and weaknesses. I know that E. will overcome most of his physical, emotional, and sensory problems in time, with the help of Sensei Vladimir.
I really appreciate Sensei Vladimir’s help and dedication. I know that Ki Martial Arts is the best thing that happenend to E.
Thank you Sensei Vladimir,
Mrs. E. H.

Our son started Tae Kwon do with a different instructor at a different dojo. After one year we felt he had not progressed much in skill although he had already been advanced to a blue belt. He had also become discouraged and did not want to continue. After attending the Free Trial Class at KI Martial Arts he was so excited about Sensei Vladimir that he was interested again in learning Tae Kwon Do and Karate. After just 8 months he has mastered more than his 20 step form. He comes twice a week with enthusiasm and is noticeably more focused, not just at learning Martial Arts, but at home, also. A. says that Sensei Vladimir is “Awesome. He teaches in a way that I can understand him.”
As a parent I appreciate Sensei Vladimir’s teaching style. He is always consistent, firm, plus attentive. Each class is full of creative, energetic fun. The Dojo is sunny, clean and inviting.
We chose KI Martial Arts for our son’s 5th Birthday Party. The large location easily accommodates 20 –plus kids and their parents. The party was very action packed, and very organized. We heard from many kids and parents afterward that it was the best party that they have ever been to!
